Inside Wooley Pingle
Oak steps lead guests up into the Hut, as you step inside Wooley Pingle you will find a light, airy, and thoughtfully appointed space.
The décor is calm, peaceful, modern, and bright. The windows have blackout blinds for those that prefer to wake up of their own accord each morning.
Bedroom – Welcome to the lovely bedroom! Inside, you’ll find a sumptuous double bed with luxuriously soft bedding and plump pillows, ensuring you’ll have a fantastic night’s sleep. For your convenience, there’s a shelf behind the bed equipped with reading lamps and a perfect spot for your morning cuppa and your favourite book or magazine. You’ll also find USB points to charge your phones easily.
The bed is elevated on a platform, creating space below it to stow away suitcases and bags. No worries if you need a little extra help getting into bed; we provide a folding step to assist you!
Entertainment-wise, we have a smart TV mounted on the wall at just the right angle, so you can enjoy it comfortably from either the bed or the seating area if you feel like watching something.
Kitchen – Welcome to the spacious kitchen area! Here, you’ll find everything you need to feel right at home while cooking. There’s a lovely Belfast sink, a full oven and grill, a convenient two-burner gas hob, a kettle, and ample storage for all your provisions.
We’ve taken special care to provide you with quality crockery, all from Denby pottery, which is just 5 miles away. If you love finding great deals, a visit there might be a delightful addition to your plans.
Rest assured, we’ve tried our best to think of everything, ensuring this kitchen truly feels like your home away from home. You’ll find it fully equipped with all the essentials, giving you the freedom to cook as much or as little as you like.
Even washing up becomes a pleasant experience when you can enjoy the scenic view of the beautiful countryside and watch the sheep grazing outside the window. It’s the little things that make your stay here extra special!
Living / Dining Space –Welcome to the Living/Dining area! In case the weather isn’t ideal for dining outside, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered with a small table and stools for you to enjoy a meal indoors.
If it’s a bit chilly outside, feel free to light up the log burner and experience the cosy ambiance and warmth it creates indoors. You’ll love it!
For your comfort and relaxation, we have two comfy chairs with cushions and blankets. You can place them near the French doors to soak in the beautiful view, use them for reading, or simply enjoy watching TV.
Lastly, we’ve provided you with a mirror and hooks to hang a few clothing items. So make yourself at home and enjoy your time in this inviting space!
Bathroom – The opposite end of the Hut to the bed is where guests will find the shower room. There is a toilet, a small washbasin, and a large shower enclosure housing a powerful Mira shower with oodles of hot water. Luxury toiletries and soft towels are provided for guests to use.
The Hut is heated by a gas radiator, there is a towel rail in to ensure towels are dry. A combi boiler ensures there is always a supply of hot water. The Hut is run off LPG gas
Outdoor relaxing, alfresco drinking and eating....
Outside Wooley Pingle
On sunny mornings and balmy evenings, the space outside the hut is simply idyllic. Guests can sit on the comfortable Adirondack chairs and soak up the view and enjoy the peace of the countryside whilst sipping a brew, having a glass of wine, or something more special! Indeed, enjoy an afternoon snooze if the mood takes you! Relax and let your cares melt away.
The sitting area looks over the wildflower meadow that in summer is simply beautiful and attracts numerous insects and birds. The bird feeding station attracts Blue Tits, Long-tailed Tits, Greenfinches, Goldfinches, and the occasional Woodpecker if you are lucky!
If the weather is kind the Cadac Gas BBQ can be used to cook your supper; also, guests can light the Solo Stove smokeless firepit to take the chill off any cooler evenings or extend the time spent outside each evening. Blankets are provided for guests to use outside.
There is a bistro table and chairs to sit at for your alfresco meals and drinks.
At night the festival lighting provides a special romantic ambiance, however, should you want to enjoy the night skies and do some stargazing then they can be turned off. Perhaps wrap yourselves up in blankets, be at peace, and enjoy a sundowner.
Drying Hut – aka the “Posh Shed” -To the left of the hut up a further flight of steps there is a heated shed for guests to use to dry off and store muddy/wet boots and clothing. There is a microwave and a further fridge along with a few basic provisions (pay via honesty box or bacs before you leave).
By the car park, a further shed is available to store bikes securely if required.
