The hut is situated on an elevated hillside to offer stunning views, but please note that there are steps to climb. Refer to our access guide for more details.

The perfect cosy relaxing stay..

Guests have the option to park their vehicle for the duration of their stay and explore the area on foot or by bicycle right from the Shepherd’s Hut.

Guests can enjoy breakfast at the Hut or take a short walk to the nearby Fountains café along the lane.

After a day filled with outdoor adventures, guests can return to the hut and enjoy the comforts provided inc. a slice or two of homemade cake!

Evenings are perfect for cosying up by the log burner or making use of the outdoor space for alfresco cooking and stargazing by the smokeless firepit.

For those interested in experiencing local offerings, a brief stroll down the lane leads to the charming village pub, great guest ales and music at the weekends.

Everything needed for a nourishing and rejuvenating experience is easily accessible.

Upon departure, guests leave feeling completely relaxed, with cherished memories of their time spent in Wooley Pingle.

The Hut has been built to our bespoke design, built to aesthetically fit into the environment, it is well insulated with sheep’s wool to ensure it is warm throughout all the seasons. 

It stands overlooking the picturesque views. 

Open all year round!

The sleeping area houses a comfortable double bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton bedding. 

The kitchen has everything the discerning cook could wish for. 

The bathroom has a powerful shower, WC, and handbasin plus luxury complimentary toiletries.

A log burner provides extra warmth on cooler evenings.

 Heaven to just snuggle up inside and be at peace!

Wooley Pingle is set high on the hillside to provide views from all angles. 

In front of the Hut, there is a wildflower meadow, planted to attract nature to the site, the bird feeders adjacent to the seating area provide guests with the opportunity to enjoy the wildlife in close proximity. 

By the evening you can cook on the BBQ should you wish to enjoy a little alfresco dining.  Light the firepit and grab the blankets to keep you warm on cooler nights.
